Distance Learning Opportunities at CSU

Online course delivery using the Internet is the newest addition to distance learning technology.   These courses offer students the opportunity to take classes from anywhere students can access the Web.  Online courses offer unparalleled flexibility in scheduling and location.  CSU offers online courses in many subjects and, through eCore, allows students to complete their first two years of college completely online.  Many other classes are also available online through CougarVIEW (Vista), CSU's online Learning Management System.

CSU also participates in two-way point-to-point or multi-site conferences through the Internet (IP).  This connects CSU to the other colleges and universities in the University System of Georgia - and beyond!  CSU can share resources with these schools and offer a broader variety of classes.  Technology provides immediate interactivity between students and their instructor.  These courses give students access to classes they might not otherwise be able to take.
